This is the first book I've read by this author and I have to say I was totally blown away by her talent to weave a complete story with multiple plot lines...This is a enemies to lovers romance with plenty of edge of your seat twists, but Ms. Alexander was able to write a fantastic story and bring all the story lines together into an suspenseful ending. Here I am trying to read this and my family kept needing something. I finally "ran some errands" which is code for go to park so you can read. This book was so good I needed to be totally immersed in it. So many unexpected developments. Stryker's character hit all the boxes. Most importantly, a good bad guy. Glad Emerson followed suit. I was sad to see the ending of The Touch series, but wowza! The Vigilantes starts with a bang!! As soon as I started this book, I was not able to put it down!! I was enamored with the characters and fell madly for Stryker and Emerson. Their enemies to lovers story had me intrigued that kept me wanting more. Stoni does not disappoint! I loved Stryker and Emerson! Stryker has that great bad boy vibe, he was mysterious and intense. Emerson was dedicated and determined and held his attention even when he wanted to punish her. The plot was suspenseful and twisted enough to keep you on the edge of your seat while the characters walked the line between revenge and their own demise.
