My goodness… I am at a loss of words. Yes my friends that is a good thing. The emotions are still rolling off of me in waves. I am on a huge book hangover and I am not sure how to get over it. I don't think I want to anyways.
The passion for vengeance runs deep and I could not get it out of my head on how much pain was pushed to the limits. But that is what Stoni does. She will bring the hurt so you can feel what her characters feel. But she will always come out on top at the end. I loved this story and more so the series. Reading a book by Stoni Alexander is a guarantee for one incredible experience! This author writes characters who are passionate, strong yet slightly flawed by unresolved emotional pain due to tragic circumstances in their pasts. Her storytelling grabs your attention and takes you a suspenseful and emotional journey with amazing points to enjoy along the way.
Cooper and Danielle’s story is a passionate and suspenseful romance with several layers to their stories. Well loved characters from previous books appear and participate in the storyline making the reading experience even better.
While this book might be able to be read as a standalone, it will be much more satisfying to have read the Stoni’s previous books or at least book #1 in the Vigilantes series.

Stoni Alexander does it again! This was a fantastic and fast paced read. Cooper is my type of hero and Danielle is his perfect partner. The love story of Cooper and Danielle is set amidst a background of heartbreak, family loss, suspense and betrayal. The connection these two have is immediate and intense as they find their way to each other. I enjoyed meeting the secondary cast of characters introduced as it added to the depth of the story. This book about Cooper and Danielle was so awesome I couldn’t put the book down. It was non-stop action, adventure, drama, love, steamy sex and angst. The characters were so well written with their backgrounds, the secrets, the flaws and the sense that family is not just blood...the strong connection, the fireworks, the love and romance were spectacular...supporting characters were also amazing and really helped make this such an awesome story.
